I just bought an 03' Vulcan 1500 Classic...out the door for $8025. WOW what a machine. The comfort and power are worlds above the little Savage, but she was my first street bike too, and I'm still kinda partial to it...so I didnt trade it in (plus they were only going to give me 600 for it, and that would barely cover a windshield and backrest for the Vulcan.) My Vulcan still has factory exhaust....waaaaaaaaaaayyyy to quiet..but, i'll save some pennies ($400) and put on a set of pipes.
